LocalBooks

Guides

Each guide starts with a problem authors or readers really have, then shows how LocalBooks solves it, step by step, and what it costs.

For authors

Get your book in front of the readers next door, and learn what they think of it.

How do readers in your town find your book?
Get your book onto your town’s page, the map and the right genres, in a few minutes.
Where can readers see all your books in one place?
One page for your bio, your links and every book, listed on your town’s page.
Have you ever wanted to look over a reader’s shoulder?
See which chapters and passages move readers, make them laugh, or lose them.
Where do readers stop reading your book?
Visits, samples, readers, and the chapter where readers put your book down.
Would more people read your book if they could try the first chapters free?
Let readers try your first chapters free, in a reader set like a printed book.
Need a book trailer, but you’re not a video editor?
Write one sentence. Get a trailer that plays to readers, and a video for social media.
What does it cost to put your book in front of local readers?
