No signal on the plane? Keep reading anyway.
Planes, subways, cabins, the dead spot at the back of the café. Most reading websites show a blank page the moment the signal drops, right in the middle of a chapter.
Download a book before you go
In the reader, open the contents and choose “Download for offline reading”. LocalBooks saves the chapters you can read onto your device. When it says “Available offline”, you’re set.
Without a connection, the reader opens the saved copy and tells you so.
Add LocalBooks to your home screen
LocalBooks can sit on your home screen like an app, open full screen and start on your Bookshelf. No app store needed.
Keep the screen on
Turn on “Keep screen on” in the reading settings and your screen won’t dim while you read. It lets go after a few minutes without reading, to save your battery.
