Thomas Malory

Sir Thomas Malory (c. 1415–1471) was a Warwickshire knight from Newbold Revel, near Rugby, who spent years in prison on charges ranging from theft to rebellion. He finished his great Arthurian book there, and William Caxton printed it in 1485.
