The Oresteia

King Agamemnon comes home to Argos from Troy and is murdered by his wife Clytemnestra, and years later their son Orestes returns to avenge him. The trilogy follows the blood feud from the palace to Apollo's shrine at Delphi and finally to a trial before the citizens of Athens.
